Immezu Pebble
in the Sky
"Eccles" was a showdog par excellence. He often had
to be held back when going around the ring so that
his handler could keep up with him - he loved to
stride out at full speed and show off his smooth
driving movement and spectacular coat. He won
multiple Groups and placements, and was also a
wonderful ambassador for the breed since he loved
people and delighted in the attention they gave him.
Tamzin also used him in Junior Showmanship and
won many awards with him, including Best Junior
Handler at the Puli Club of America national
specialty in 1992. He sired only four small litters for us - a total of eight puppies - but they were all quality.
In 1989 he was Canada's #3 Puli, in 1990 he was #5; in 1991 #3; and in 1992 he was #2. He was one of
sweetest dogs we have ever owned.
His kids:

"Cassy" was one of our family's all-time favourite
Pulis. She finished her Canadian championship
shown by our son Ben, then finished her American
championship shown by our daughter Tamzin.
Tamzin then trained her to her Canadian and
American CDs. She finished her Canadian CD with
a 2nd and 4th places from Novice A, and her
American CD with a 3rd placing from Novice B. She
was a little too casual in the obedience ring - her
scores fluctuated wildly from a high of 192.5 right
down to 170.5! Stephanie took her through her
Temperament Test and Tamzin then used her
extensively as a Junior Handling dog, winning
several awards, including Best Junior Handler
awards at two Puli Club of America specialties. She even did a little agility, but proved too laid back to be
really competitive. She was truly a versatile and obliging Puli.

Can/Am CD, Can CDX, TT
(Sire: Am Ch Domboldali Bomba Pipacs. Dam: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Untidy Heidi HIC)
b. 1987 - d. 2002
She also performed well in the whelping box with the following kids:-
Am/Can Ch. Immerzu Bewitching (owned by ourselves)
Am/Can Ch. Immerzu Beaux Arts (co-owned with Zach and Deb Stadelman, Hays, Kansas)
Am Ch/Can OTCH Immerzu Northern Light UDX, OAJ, OA (owned by Jan Peterson, Buffalo,
Minnesota - check out his own page)
"Allie" had a rocky start in life, contracting parvo
at the age of 4 months. She spent 5 days in a
veterinary hospital on IVs, and pulled through,
only to lose almost all of her coat a few weeks later
except for tufts on her tail, ears, and feet. She
looked like a cross between a Poodle and a
plucked chicken!
She became my obedience dog, winning her
Canadian CD with a 1st and 3rd places from
Novice A. In the U.S.A. she won her CD with three
4th places from Novice B. At the beginning of her
obedience career Allie was somewhat anxious and lacked self-confidence, and this was reflected in her
scores, which were not earth-shattering, mostly in the 180's.
I began to train her in Open work, and after a long tussle with the dumbbell she agreed that she could,
perhaps, pick it up and bring it back to me if I REALLY wanted it. She loved jumping and would fly over
the high jump and the broad jump, and as she became more experienced her confidence grew. She won
her Canadian CDX with one 1st place and two 2nd places. She continued to do well, finishing 1995 as
Canada's top winning obedience Puli.

IMMERZU HELLO BEAR
TT
(Sire: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Bear’s Paw TT. Dam: Can Ch Szervusz Sunrise for Immerzu)
b. 1987 - d. 2002
"Dundee" was the sole survivor of his litter, and grew up to
be one of our most influential stud dogs. He had a great
showdog attitude and lovely driving movement, but was
never campaigned extensively since he did not carry the big
coat usually expected of a special. He finished his American
championship with three majors, including Best of Winners
for a 5-point major at a Puli Club of America supported
entry on a specialty weekend.
He sired Pulis who have excelled in many arenas, and with several different owners, as follows:-
Can Ch Immerzu Like Magic - Group placer (owned by Patricia Heagy, Scout Lake, Saskatchewan)
Am Ch Immerzu Moving Target CD, CGC - Group placer (owned by Willa Burco, Oelwein, Iowa)
Am Ch/Can OTCH Immerzu Northern Light UDX, OAJ, OA (owned by Jan Peterson, Buffalo, Minnesota

1995 (owned by ourselves)
Immerzu Yiminy Cricket Can/Am CD - #2 obedience Puli in Canada in 1997; High in Trial, Puli Club of
America national specialty, Portland, Oregon, 1997 (owned by Ann Tober, Edmonton, Alberta)
Am Ch/Can OTCH

Am UDX, OAJ, OA
(Sire: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Hello Bear. Dam: Immerzu Inshallah Can CDX, Am CD)
b. 1990 - d. 2001
"Kicsi" was a very successful performance Puli in both
Canada and the U.S.A, as well as being a very handsome
dog who easily finished his American championship. We
are very proud of him and his owner/trainer Jan Peterson
of Buffalo, Minnesota. Kicsi won many High in Class and
High in Trial awards in Canada and the U.S.A. He
ranked #1 obedience Puli in Canada in 1994, 1997, and
1998, and was #2 in 1996. In the U.S.A. he was #1
obedience Puli in 1993 and 1994, and placed in the Top 10
in several other years. He completed his UDX early in
1999 and then concentrated on agility, which he enjoyed
enormously.

CDX, HIC
(Sire: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Hello Bear. Dam: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Going to the Sun

b. 1992 - d. 2006
Her very successful kids include:
Can/Am Ch Kirasdream Xoe of Immerzu CGN - BOS Junior Sweepstakes, Puli Club of America national
specialty, Denver, Colorado, 1995 (owned by ourselves; bred by Bob & Pat Carpenter)
Can Ch Kirasdream Anji of Immerzu (owned by Ann Tober, Edmonton, AB - check out her own page)

Can/Am Ch Immerzu Gem Stone (owned by ourselves)
"Pebble" very much resembled her dam Cassy, both tall
and beautiful bitches with impressive coats and
wonderful movement. In the ownership of Bob and Pat
Carpenter (kennel name Kirasdream) of Edmonton,
Alberta, she was extremely successful in the showring, the
obedience ring, and the whelping box, just like her Mom.
She was guided to her many Group placements by three
different handlers: Pat Carpenter, Tamzin Horan, and
Stephanie Horan, and to her obedience wins and herding
certification by Pat. She ranked in Canada as follows: #4
in 1994; #3 in 1995; #3 in 1996; #3 in 1997; and #4 in
1998.
"Dice" was a sweet and cheerful dog who enjoyed
dog shows and people. He was shown very little as a
special after her finished his Canadian and
American championships because he tended to
scratch out coat periodically - as soon as he looked
good with decent coat length he would give himself
a haircut! He actually finished his American
championship in a major entry with short cords on
his front half and lovely long cords on the rear half -
obviously his sound structure and excellent
movement won over the judge that day! He became
our super stud dog, siring many Pulis who have
excelled in conformation and performance events. He is pictured at two years old.
His successful children include:
Can/Am Ch Immerzu Bewitching - Reserve Winners Bitch, Puli Club of America national specialty,
Portland, Oregon, 2001 (owned by ourselves)

"Fay" was a lovely typy bitch, with a beautiful coat
and movement, sound and straight. She had multiple
group-placements in Canada, and was Winners Bitch
at the Puli Club of America national specialty in
Houston, Texas, in 1998. She ranked #3 Puli in
Canada in 1998, #2 in 2001, and #4 in 2002 at the age
of nine! She won BOB from the Veteran class at the
Puli Canada supported entry at the 2005 Working-
Herding Dog Association of Alberta show in Red Deer,
and then went on to win a group 4th placing - an
amazing achievement at the age of 12 1/2! Later the
same month she won BOS in the 10+ Veteran
Sweepstakes at the Puli Club of America national
specialty in California, and we were totally devastated
to lose her two weeks later to a fast-acting cancer. She
was a truly outstanding Puli who never grew old.
