Can/Am Ch
BELZEBUB CSIBI AT IMMERZU
(Sire: Belzebub Bogancs. Dam: Belzebub Zumbi)
b. 1970 - d. 1983
"Csibi" was an import from the Belzebub Puli kennel of Mrs. B.
Bakos in Hungary. Like Joli, she also endured her 6 months'
quarantine unhappily, but when she was released her bright and
lively temperament surfaced. She loved dog shows, and would fly
round the ring in great delight. She was a sound and workmanlike
bitch. Because she did not have a top quality coat we didn't plan
on showing her much in the U.S.A., thinking that she might have
some trouble finishing her title there. But one weekend she was
entered as a filler, and surprised us all by having a wonderful time,
catching the eye of a judge who ignored her scruffy coat and went
for her type, soundness and attitude, and gave her a 4-point major!
She went on to finish her American title in only three weekends.
She also proved herself in the whelping box with the following
kids:
Can/Am Ch Immerzu Moorva Can/Am CD (owned by ourselves)
Can/Am Ch Shine-on Immerzu Zamba (owned by ourselves)
Am Ch Shine-On Immerzu Argus CDX (co-bred with and owned
by Sally Hines, Massachusetts)
International/Hungarian/Polish Ch
PUSZTAI KOCOS PANNA
(Sire: Am/Mex/Hung Ch Gyalpusztai Kocos Burkus.
Dam: Kondorosi Bajos Bogar)
b. 1965 - d.1977
"Panna" was bred and owned by the late Mrs Sara Nagy of the
famed Pusztai Puli kennel in Budapest, Hungary. She had won all
over Europe, and since she was at the point where there was little
else for her to win, Sara was kind enough to allow ourselves and
the late Mrs Frou Stretton (kennel name Amroth) to import her
into Britain to help us start our fledgling Puli kennels. We will
always be grateful for Sara's generosity in letting Panna go. She
was the most beautiful Puli bitch, and forever in our minds she
represents the ideal. We were fortunate in breeding one last litter
from her, and her descendants live on in our present-day Pulis.
Can/Am Ch
PIPACS IMMERZU RAGTIME BLUES
(Sire: Am Ch Domboldali Bomba Pipacs. Dam: Can/Am
Ch Immerzu Moorva Can/Am CD)
b. 1981 - d. 1996
Co-bred with Laurel Colton and Toni McLaughlin, "Rags"
became the special friend and soulmate of the late Patricia
Giancaterino (kennel name Mi-Tonka). Handled by Pat he won
groups and placements in both the U.S.A. and Canada, and is one
of America's top producing Puli sires with 14 champion children,
including a national specialty Best in Show winner. Pat remembers
him as always a gentleman, always conducted himself with dignity,
and he had a knack for endearing himself to families visiting dog
shows, especially the children, who would cheer for him in the
ring. He was a once in a lifetime dog, and we are very proud of
him and Pat.
Can/Am Ch
IMMERZU UNTIDY HEIDI
(Sire: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Belzebub Csutora.
Dam: Can/Am Ch Immerzu Urchin)
b. 1979 - d. 1988
"Heidi" loved dog shows - in fact she was so animated in the ring
that I'm sure no judge saw her move with all four feet on the floor
until she was two years old! She had style and pizzazz, and it
helped that she was also typy and sound, with a beautiful head
and coat. She easily gained her Canadian championship and
placed in Group. She finished her American championship in
spectacular style, taking Winners Bitch for a 5-point major at the
Puli Club of America national specialty in 1981, and was also
Winners Bitch for another 5-point major at the Puli Club of
Northern California specialty in 1983. She won Best of Opposite
Sex at Puli Canada's national specialty in 1985. In 1983 she was
#1 Puli in Canada; #2 in 1984, and again #1 in 1985.

SHINE-ON IMMERZU ZAMBA
(Sire: Am Ch Kiskunlachazi Pengo. Dam: Can/Am Ch
Belzebub Csibi at Immerzu)
b. 1979 - d. 1983
"Sam" was from a litter co-bred with Sally Hines (kennel name
Shine-On). He was a beautiful Puli with exceptional movement;
unfortunately he didn't like the showring much and so was retired
after he finished his Canadian and American championships.
Despite his dislike of the ring he managed to show well enough to
take Best of Winners for a 5-point major at the Puli Club of
America national specialty in San Rafael, California in 1981,
under breeder-judge Leslie Benis, and he was also Reserve
Winners Dog at the Puli Club of Northern California specialty in
1983. We were devastated to lose him to uremia at the age of four.
He left us a legacy of great kids:

"Tisza" was a tall and imposing bitch with a dominant
personality, lovely driving movement and a terrific coat. For many
years she was our Boss Bitch, controlling all our other dogs
effortlessly. She was a little too tall for a bitch, and tended to be
somewhat "doggy" rather than feminine, but she did a lot of
winning in the conformation ring, taking many group placements
at a time when the Puli was in the big Working Group, before the
herding breeds were split off. She was a great showdog, a reliable
obedience worker, and she excelled in the whelping box - truly a
breeder's dream dog.
She ranked #3 Puli in Canada in 1977, and was #3 again in 1981.
She was Reserve Winners Bitch at the Puli Club of America
national specialty in Pasadena, California, in 1978, and was Best
Veteran Bitch at the Puli Club of America national specialty in
Portland Oregon, in 1986, at the age of 14.

"Joli" was our first stud dog, and he was an import from the
Belzebub Puli kennel of Mrs. B. Bakos in Hungary. He was
unhappy and bewildered during his 6 months' quarantine, but on
his release he blossomed into a sweet and loving dog. He was a
squarely built, compact Puli with smooth driving movement and a
magnificent coat. He did a great deal of winning in Rare Breed and
Puli classes in Britain at a time when Pulis did not have
championship status, and won a Reserve Best in Show at a large
Open show just prior to our moving to Canada in 1974. He finished
his Canadian championship easily, taking a Group placement from
the classes, and went on to be a Group winner with multiple Group
placements. He finished his American championship unbeaten in
four shows with four majors. In 1975 he was #2 Puli in Canada,
and in 1976 he was #3.
